Hemmingway Model Typewriter
Used to Send Aprongrams from Minnesota State Fair Aug.25 - Labor day
Sept.5
August 1, 2011(MINNESOTA STATE FAIRGROUNDS) Send an Aprongram from
the Minnesota State Fair at the Apron Elegance booth located in
Heritage Square. As a unique and stylish gift, the Aprongram
includes the option of an authentic personalized message typed on a
Royal Quiet De Luxe typewriter, the same model used by American
legends Earnest Hemmingway and Edward R. Murrow. The Aprongram
message is packaged with a vintage-inspired apron and placed in an
elegant gift box to be sent to friends and family unable to visit
the “Great Get-together” at the Minnesota Fair Grounds in St.Paul,
MN.
The new Aprongram service is a flagship product of nostalgia
merchandise offered by Minnesota-based business Apron Elegance and
Duluth designer, Rachel Hart. “Aprongram takes a cue from the
‘greatest generation’ on how to make a gift fabulous--every element
is personalized to create a sense of thoughtful giving.” Hart said.
This is the first year for Apron Elegance to display its ultra
feminine pin-up-era products at the State Fair. Ruffled cherry
aprons, puffy crinoline skirts, couture hostess aprons and tea
towels embroidered with the days of the week are some of the 1940s
glamour items showcased at the Apron Elegance booth.
